Iowa River at Wapello affecting Louisa County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Iowa River at Oakville.
* WHEN...Until Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding of agricultural land is ongoing. Several county roads are under water and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM CDT Thursday was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to a 12.0 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
