The National Weather Service in Tucson has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
* Until 400 AM MST.
* At 1015 PM MST, An automated river gauge along the Brawley Wash at Milewide Road indicated a heavy flow of 2300 cfs (cubic feet per second) that was still rising late this evening. This heavy flow will still result in flash flooding along and near the Brawley wash as the water continues to drain into the early morning hours.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Gauges reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucson Estates and Picture Rocks.
This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Manville Rd at Brawley Wash.
