* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, southwest, and west central Kansas, including the following counties, in central Kansas, Ellis and Rush. In south central Kansas, Pawnee. In southwest Kansas, Finney, Ford, Grant, Gray, Hamilton, Haskell, Hodgeman, Kearny, Meade, Morton, Seward, Stanton and Stevens. In west central Kansas, Lane, Ness, Scott and Trego.

* WHEN...Through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain, will continue through Thursday. Rainfall on top of saturated soils will produce excessive runoff and potential flash flooding. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
