Flash Flood Warning

At 1131 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has exited Greenbrier County, leaving only light scattered showers. However, between 2 and 4 inches of rain fell earlier this evening, resulting in heavy runoff that quickly filled small creeks and drainages. Some of these small creeks have been reported out of their banks this evening, causing flash flooding of nearby roads near the town of Rupert.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Big Run, Big Clear Creek, Burdette Creek, Dry Run, Greenbrier River, Little Clear Creek, Little Creek, Meadow River, Beaver Creek, Boggs Creek, Burns Run and Joe Knob Branch.
