At 127 PM MDT, A USGS gage camera on the Santa Clara River near Pine Valley has shown several pulses of 1 to 2 foot rises on the river. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar has resulted in several pulses of muddy flow with some light woody debris moving through the Santa Clara River. Additional impacts are expected within the Pine Valley Recreation Area.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Forsyth Burn Scar.
