At 528 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking several strong storms forming across the eastern Sierra and western Nevada. Storms will continue to form and move northeast this evening.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Carson City, Fallon, Mammoth Lakes, Bodie, Chalfant, Crowley Lake, Virginia City, Benton, June Lake, Pyramid Lake, Bridgeport, Lee Vining, Twin Lakes, Lahontan Reservoir, Toms Place, Mono Lake, Coleville, Topaz Lake, Fernley, and Dayton.
