* WHERE...Calcasieu River near Oakdale.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding, mainly forested areas along the river will occur. Park and picnic ground off of Highway 10 begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Thursday was 18.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.6 feet this afternoon.
