Severe Thunderstorm Warning

At 252 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles east of Whitehall to 9 miles northeast of North Bend to 8 miles north of Bangor, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Public. At 237 AM CDT, a personal weather station in New Amsterdam recorded a 67 mph wind gust.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

These severe storms will be near... Black River Falls, Alma Center, and Cataract around 300 AM CDT. Merrillan around 305 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Franklin, Melrose, Shamrock, Beach Corners, York, Stevenstown, and Vaudreuil.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 94 between mile markers 96 and 123. Interstate 90 in Wisconsin between mile markers 2 and 7, and near mile marker 11.
