Extreme Heat Watch

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 109 degrees expected. For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 110 degrees possible.

* WHERE...Calhoun, Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee MS, Monroe, Pontotoc, Union, and Yalobusha Counties.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 11 AM Monday to 6 AM CDT Wednesday. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Wednesday morning through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.
