* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Marmaton River at Fort Scott.

* WHEN...From Monday morning to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 38.0 feet, minor flooding begins along Mill Creek north of town due to backwater effects of the Marmaton River. Flood waters also spill across the field by the Red Barn Restaurant, on the north side of town, at the new Highway 69 Bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 12.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 38.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 38.4 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 38.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 38.4 feet on 05/28/2008. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
