* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in streams. River or stream flows are elevated.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 200 PM HST, Doppler radar indicated areas of moderate to locally heavy rain moving into East Maui and the eastern slopes of Haleakala. Rain was falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1.5 inches per hour. In addition, stream gauges in the area remain elevated and Piiholo Road was reported closed near Waiahiwi Road in Makawao. Additional rainfall is expected throughout the rest of the day, with heavier rain likely as evening approaches. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Nahiku, Keanae, Kipahulu, Kaupo, Hana, Huelo, Makawao, Haiku- Pauwela, Haliimaile and Pauwela.
