* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 156 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Columbia, Lexington, West Columbia, Irmo, Forest Acres, St. Andrews, Dentsville, Oak Grove, Highway 6 at Lake Murray Dam, Arcadia Lakes, Columbia International University, Riverbanks Zoo, Harbison State Forest, Woodfield, Killian, Sesquicentennial State Park, Villages at Sandhill, Lake Carolina, Eau Claire and Seven Oaks. - This includes the following highways... Interstate 126 between mile markers 0 and 3. Interstate 26 between mile markers 101 and 110. Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers 57 and 81.
