Details

A strong Bering Sea system will bring widespread moderate to heavy rain at times along gusty winds and rough seas for the coastal waters of the Kuskokwim Delta and the Western Capes.
Wednesday into Thursday:
-Winds: Southerly to southwest winds up to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Winds slowly diminish through Thursday.
-Wave Heights: 5 to 6 ft waves Wednesday morning build to 8 to 14 ft Wednesday afternoon. The higher end totals are more likely farther from the coast. Wave heights slowly subside beginning Thursday morning.
-Rainfall amounts: Expect moderate to heavy rain at times (about 0.50 to 1.00 inches storm total), with the highest amounts near Quinhagak and Platinum.
