The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for... Northwestern San Miguel County in northeastern New Mexico...
* Until 800 PM MDT.
* At 625 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.25 to 0.75 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.75 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Additional showers are expected which could cause quick bursts of rainfall and limit runoff allowing flooding to persist.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
