Special Weather Statement

At 327 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 21 miles southwest of Park Valley, or 36 miles south of Oakley Reservoir, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Box Elder County.

This includes Utah Route 30 between mile markers 36 and 46.
