Flash Flood Warning

At 433 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, but the heaviest rainfall has left the burn scars. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, roads, and low lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Stove Prairie, Pennock Pass and Buckhorn Mountain.

Cow Creek, Pendergrass Creek, Black Creek, Grouse Creek, Eld Creek, Sheep Creek, Redstone Creek, Pennock Creek, North Fork Big Thompson River, South Fork Cache La Poudre River, Miller Fork, Buckhorn Creek, Big Thompson River and North Fork Fish Creek.
