At 528 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16 miles south of Battle Mountain, moving north at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Portions of State Route 305 approximately 10 to 15 miles south of Battle Mountain, and the Phoenix Mine.
