* WHAT...For the Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with temperatures up to 101. For the Wind Advisory, northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected, strongest in the foothills and mountains.

* WHERE...Santa Barbara County Interior Mountains, Santa Barbara County Southeastern Coast, Santa Barbara County Southwestern Coast, Santa Ynez Mountains Eastern Range, and Santa Ynez Mountains Western Range.

* WHEN...For the Extreme Heat Warning, until 8 PM PDT Thursday. For the Wind Advisory, until 4 AM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. There is a high risk for dangerous heat illness for anyone, especially for the very young, the very old, those without air conditioning, and those active outdoors.
