Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following county, Val Verde.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 400 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Loma Alta, Lake View, Long Point, Governors Landing, Diablo East, Black Brush Point, Box Canyon, Amistad Village, Amistad Acres, Cienegas Terrace, Devils River State Nat Area Big Satan, Pafford Crossing, Devils Shores, Rough Canyon Recreation Area, Spur 406 Campground, Devils River State Nat Area Del Norte, 277 North Campground, Rock Quarry Campground, San Pedro Canyon and Salem Point. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
