At 308 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Blount Springs to Birmingham to Splash Adventure to near Brookwood to 6 miles southwest of Coker. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Hoover, Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Pell City, Leeds, Moody, Calera, Chelsea, Montevallo, Brent, Columbiana, Springville, Odenville, Centreville, Wilsonville, Lincoln, Margaret, Argo, and Indian Springs Village.
