* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine.
* WHEN...Until tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, A section of K55 floods to a depth of 2 feet of water starting from 300 feet east of the river bridge and expanding out to 25 feet wide. Expect flood waters on Highway 81 to expand further south to the Y intersection of K55. The small community of Ponderosa Estates, 5 miles northwest of Belle Plaine, will have a few homes flooded and roads leading into the Estates flooded. Timber Brook Estates will have roads inundated by over a foot of water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:45 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 22.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
