Winter Weather Advisory

* WHAT...Wet snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 2 inches near pass level, with amounts in excess of 6 inches above pass level.

* WHERE...Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains, Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains, and Ruby Mountains and Southern Beaverhead Mountains.

* WHEN...Until noon MDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on cold and wet backcountry conditions with a heightened hypothermia risk for those not properly dressed. Wet snow may down trees and block access to forest roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Campers should be aware that it only takes a few inches of snow to damage tents and other recreational items.
