* WHAT...For the first Gale Warning, south winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 1 to 3 ft occurring. For the second Gale Warning, northwest winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 40 kt and waves 6 to 9 ft expected.

* WHERE...Marquette to Munising MI and Munising to Grand Marais MI.

* WHEN...For the first Gale Warning, until 8 PM EDT this evening. For the second Gale Warning, from 3 PM Wednesday to 2 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.
