At 1114 AM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Catalina, Oro Valley, Marana, Oracle, Casas Adobes, Saddlebrooke, San Manuel, Saddlebrooke Ranch, Tortolita, Mount Lemmon/Summerhaven, Catalina State Park, Catalina Foothills, Saguaro National Park West, Picture Rocks, Campo Bonito, Biosphere 2, Oracle Junction, Dove Mountain and Redington.

This includes the following highways... Route 79 between mile markers 92 and 94. Route 77 between mile markers 73 and 101. Interstate 10 between mile markers 243 and 249.

This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... River Rd at San Pedro River, Silverbell Rd near Ina Rd, Overton Rd at Canada del Oro, Sunset Rd west of Camino de Oeste and E Wilds Rd at the Canada del Oro.
