At 1214 AM MST, Doppler radar indicated a couple of rounds of thunderstorms last night had produced between 1.00 and 3.50 inches of heavy rain along and east of Route 15 between Santa Rosa and North Komelik. The heaviest rainfall, between 2.50 and 3.50 inches, occurred near and east of North Komelik. Flash flooding is ongoing, especially in normally dry washes and low-lying areas that drain into the Santa Rosa Wash.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... North Komelik.
This includes the following streams and drainages... Santa Rosa Wash, Anegam Wash and Sil Nakya Wash.
