Flash Flood Warning

At 948 PM MST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Douglas, Bisbee, Naco, Bisbee-Douglas Airport, Pirtleville and McNeal.

This includes the following highways... Route 80 between mile markers 337 and 393. Route 191 between mile markers 1 and 18. Route 92 between mile markers 349 and 355.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Whitewater Draw, Leslie Creek, Gadwell Canyon, Mulberry Canyon, Black Draw, San Pedro River, Danger Wash, Big Bend Creek, Silver Creek, Spring Creek, Cottonwood Creek and Buck Creek.
