At 623 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of Fyffe. This thunderstorm was nearly stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Fort Payne, Rainsville, Fyffe, Geraldine, Pine Ridge, Lakeview, Lebanon, Collbran, Guest, and Dog Town.
