Wabash River at Covington.

Wabash River at Riverton.

Wabash River at Terre Haute.

Wabash River at Hutsonville Legacy Power Plant Site.

Wabash River at Montezuma.

.Minor river flooding continues on the Wabash River from Covington to Riverton following widespread one and a half to four inches of rainfall Wednesday and Wednesday night. Additional heavy rainfall of one to two inches is expected on Sunday and Sunday night. Minor river flooding will continue into next weekend or into the following week for portions of the Wabash River.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until Sunday, June 28.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Park in southern Montezuma begins to flood. Higher bottomlands begin to flood. Water backs up most local tributaries. River water is at the top of some private levees. Lowest county roads begin to flood. Parke CR 75 W begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 18.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:45 AM EDT Saturday was 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.3 feet Tuesday evening.
