At 510 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 7 miles southwest of Willard to near Elba, or extending from 20 miles northeast of Fort Morgan to 15 miles south of Akron, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Akron, Otis, Merino, Hillrose, Midway, Platner, Prewitt Reservoir, Elba, Atwood, Fremont Butte, Messex and Union.
