.Minor flooding continues along the lower White River from Petersburg to Hazleton. Minor flooding also continues on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Mount Carmel with the crest approaching Vincennes. Rain amounts with scattered storms Wednesday evening are not expected to impact main stem river levels.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Riverton.

* WHEN...Until Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Shortcut (gravel road) to Riverton floods at 20 to 21 feet as Wabash River backs up Turtle Creek a few miles south of Merom.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT /9:00 AM EDT/ Wednesday the stage was 20.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 AM CDT /9:00 AM EDT/ Wednesday was 21.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Sunday morning and continue falling to 8.4 feet Friday, September 04. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
