* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central and southwest Nebraska, including the following counties, in central Nebraska, Custer. In southwest Nebraska, Chase, Frontier, Hayes, Lincoln and Perkins.

* WHEN...Today through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Scattered areas of locally heavy rainfall could redevelop late this afternoon into this evening. A lull in precipitation is then likely from late this evening though the overnight hours. On Wednesday, as moisture arrives from the remnants of Hurricane Polo, additional heavy rainfall will be possible, especially mid-morning into Wednesday night. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
