At 502 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles east of Pope AAF, or 8 miles northeast of Fort Bragg, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Raeford, Lillington, Fort Bragg, Dunn, Angier, Godwin, Pope AAF, Spring Lake, and Erwin.

This includes Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 75 and 70.
