* WHAT...Hot temperatures as high as 74 to 82.

* WHERE...Interior Kenai Peninsula, NW Kenai Peninsula, Skilak Lake, and Turnagain Pass.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Individuals not accustomed to these unusually hot temperatures for this region may experience heat related illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures across interior northern and western Kenai Peninsula will again climb well into the 70s for daytime highs Saturday. The warmest temperatures will be from Hope Cutoff to Moose Pass and west to Sterling. Afternoon sea breezes will keep temperatures along the coast in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
