Southerly swells from Hurricane Lowell will keep surf elevated above High Surf Advisory conditions through Saturday. A large, medium- period east swell is filling in from Hurricane Karina producing advisory level surf along east facing shores.
* WHAT...Surf building to 12 feet along south facing shores. Surf building up to 14 feet along east facing shores.
* WHERE...South and east facing shores of all Hawaiian Islands... and west facing shores of the Big Island.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM HST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Moderate. Strong breaking waves and strong currents will make swimming dangerous.
