At 1109 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Blanch, or near Providence, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Burlington, Graham, Roxboro, Hillsborough, Mebane, Rougemont, Concord, Haw River, Swepsonville, and Stovall.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 163 and 166. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 146 and 162, and between Mile Markers 259 and 261.
