* Special Marine Warning for... Pamlico Sound... S of Cape Hatteras NC to Ocracoke Inlet NC out to 20 NM... S of Ocracoke Inlet NC to Cape Lookout NC out to 20 NM...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 459 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located near The Vicinity Of Davis, or near Drum Inlet, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.
