Frost Advisory

* WHAT...Temperatures as low as 35 will result in frost formation.

* WHERE...City and Borough of Yakutat, parts of Eastern Chichagof Island including Hoonah, parts of Glacier Bay including Gustavus, and sheltered areas in the City and Borough of Juneau.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 9 AM AKDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Growing season in Southeast Alaska ends September 15th, at which point frost and freeze advisories will no longer be issued.
