* Until 245 AM CDT.

* At 151 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts was located near Gulfport. The cluster of severe thunderstorms were nearly stationary.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in injury and damage to boats...vessels and oil rigs.

* Locations impacted include... Cat Island, Biloxi, Mississippi Sound, Long Beach, Pass Christian, Ship Island, Ocean Springs, and Gulfport.
