Flood Advisory

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following counties, Cheboygan and Presque Isle.

* WHEN...Until 430 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1224 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Onaway, Indian River, Aloha, Aloha State Park, Koehler Township, Mullet Lake, Topinabee, Tower, Onaway State Park and Riggsville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
