* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Eastern Phillips County in north central Kansas... Smith County in north central Kansas...
* WHEN...Until 100 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 951 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that most of the Advisory area had picked up 2-4 inches of rain Wednesday afternoon and evening. Primarily minor/nuisance flooding is likely occurring or will yet occur within the Advisory area, including possible minor flooding of small creeks and streams and at least a few rural roads. At least portions of the Advisory area could receive another inch of rain rain moves out tonight or becomes much lighter, and at least some lighter rain could also fall during the day Thursday before rain completely ends for several days. - This includes, but is not limited to the following streamsand drainages... Oak Creek, East Plum Creek, Beaver Creek, Pawnee Creek, School Creek, East Branch Twelvemile Creek, East Branch Troublesome Creek, Spring Creek, West Beaver Creek, Plotner Creek, Walnut Creek, West Oak Creek, Rock Creek, Plum Creek, Crystal Creek, West Big Creek, Middle Oak Creek, West Penny Creek, Deer Creek, Lost Creek, Big Creek, Ash Creek, East Beaver Creek, Cedar Creek, Dry Creek, East Cedar Creek, Middle Cedar Creek, White Rock Creek, and West Cedar Creek. - Some locations that could experience flooding include... Instructions

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
