* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of west central Minnesota, including the following county, Clay and southeast North Dakota, including the following counties, Barnes, Cass and Ransom.

* WHEN...Until 5 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Recent rainfall has saturated soils in portions of southeast North Dakota into southern Red River Valley of Minnesota. Potential for additional 3 to 5 inches of rainfall presents potential for flash flooding to occur late this afternoon through tonight. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
