* WHEN...Until 530 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 224 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... New Orleans, Kenner, Harvey, Chalmette, Metairie, Jefferson, Gretna, Arabi, Terrytown, Bridge City, Elmwood, Meraux, River Ridge, Violet and New Orleans Armstrong Airport. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
