At 357 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Emigration Canyon, or 7 miles southeast of Bountiful, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include... Salt Lake City, Summit Park, East Canyon State Park, Emigration Canyon, Canyon Rim, University Of Utah, and Sugarhouse.
This includes Interstate 80 in Utah near mile marker 126, and between mile markers 132 and 134.
