...HOT, DRY, AND WINDY SATURDAY...
.Saturday will see a continuation of hot, dry, and windy conditions across southeast Oregon and the higher terrain of southwest Idaho.
* AFFECTED AREA...In Idaho, Fire Weather Zones 401 Western Payette National Forest, 402 Eastern Payette National Forest and 423 Owyhee Mountains. In Oregon, Fire Weather Zones 670 Burns BLM, 671 Steens Mountain, 672 Southern Grasslands, 673 Central Canyonlands, 674 Northwestern Vale BLM and 675 Baker Valley.
* TIMING...Until 9 PM MDT /8 PM PDT/ Saturday.
* WINDS...Southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 16 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
