At 241 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Raven to near Lebanon to 10 miles south of Cleveland Va. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include... Abingdon, Glade Spring, Honaker, Lindell, Dye, Holston, Emory-Meadowview, and Rosedale.
