* Flash Flood Warning for... Southern Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia... Northeastern Raleigh County in southeastern West Virginia...
* Until 145 PM EDT.
* At 1110 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms had previously produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Babcock State Park, Mount Hope, Piney View, Stanaford, Bradley, Prosperity, Meadow Bridge, Pax and Artie.
This includes the following highways... Route 19 between mile markers 1 and 7...and near mile marker 25. Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 127 and 137. West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 51 and 56.
