.Recent heavy rainfall is continuing to cause rises on the Wabash River. At New Harmony, the river will climb above flood stage this evening, cresting around a half foot above flood stage Friday.

* WHEN...From this evening to late Saturday evening.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 15.5 feet early Friday morning.
