At 339 PM MST, Heavy rain has ended along Havasu Creek with lighter showers continuing. A rise of 3.5 feet at 2:47 PM MST was indicated by a stream gage located along Cataract Creek below Heather Wash. Down stream rises are still expected so seeking high ground is advised.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding in and around the Havasu Creek basin.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Havasu Creek basin.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Little Navajo Falls, Mooney Falls, Beaver Falls, Havasupai Reservation, Supai and Hualapai Hilltop.

This includes the Colorado River between river miles 156 and 158.

This includes the following swimming holes... All swimming holes on Havasu Creek near Supai.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Black Tank Wash, Pasture Wash, Little Coyote Canyon, Havasu Creek, Colorado River, Sinyella Canyon and Heather Wash.
