* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Central Union NC County in the Piedmont of North Carolina...
* WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1246 AM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
As of 1245 AM EDT, the stream gauge along Bearskin Creek at N Charlotte Ave in Monroe was reporting a stage of 8.63 ft. The creek had crested, and water levels were beginning to fall steadily. At this level, minor flooding of nearby low- lying areas, particularly those in nearby Dickerson Park, continues. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
