At 234 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 9 nm southwest of Burwell Bay, moving east at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include... Hampton River Inlet, James River Bridge, Hampton Flats, Monitor Merrimack Bridge Tunnel, Willoughby Bay, Burwell Bay, Sewells Point, Cobham Bay, and Dominion Pier.
